Vietnam may not yet have a high profile as a birdwatching destination but the avifauna is distinctive and contains a number of endemic species which will be among the principal targets of this new Bargain Selection tour.

Our 2009 brochure has just been sent to the printers and in a few weeks will be posted to all of those on our mailing list. It contains 32 tours not featured in the 2008 brochure and a new wildlife cruises section.

Next weekend the biggest gathering of birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts takes place at the annual British Birdwatching Fair, on the shores of Rutland Water, from Friday 15th – Sunday 17th August (inclusive). This is a great opportunity to meet Naturetrek staff and tour leaders at our stand and to discuss your holiday plans with us. You will find us at stand 42/43 in Marquee 2.

In South America we have now operated four Just Jaguars tours and with a total of five Jaguars seen during these tours have maintained a 100% success rate with this most elusive and unpredictable of creatures. The 2008 report and 2009 dates are now available for this highly popular tour.

In order to give the Choco region and its fantastic birdlife the special attention they deserve, we re-vamped our Choco tour into an 11-day adventure to this threatened area concentrating on restricted-range species such as Slaty-tailed Trogon, Golden-chested Tanager and Five-coloured Barbet and many more.
