Our local guides in Guyana have discovered an active Harpy Eagle nest in the Kanuku Mountains, with two adults presently sitting on eggs. We expect the chick (s) to hatch between mid-July and mid-August, with good viewing possibilities up to and probably beyond November. We’ve rapidly put together a really exciting 11-day birding itinerary.

During the last few years many birders have enjoyed Naturetrek Bargain Birdwatching holidays in the Northern Argentina Andes and Chaco regions. To celebrate the new season of tours for 2009 our local agents have redesigned the Andes itinerary to create a completely new tour which will now include even more high altitude ornithological specialities.
